About Paul

 

My search for happiness and wellbeing began in early childhood after a family tragedy which caused much suffering. Human beings will instinctively seek freedom from suffering.

Years later, I have found it ~ I feel it 99% of the time.

 

And I have found it despite that childhood trauma, being sensitive and an empath, despite the lunacy of humanity and an imperilled  Earth.

 

I've found that real, deep rooted, robust and sustained wellbeing is a natural result of three things:

​

  • Getting to know our essence identity - our own soul, spirit, innermost essence, or 'true self' - this is the source of our wellbeing

 

  • Sustaining this identification with our essence by mastering our wandering minds, which constantly distract us and cause us to lose present-moment awareness of our deeper self, pinching off our wellbeing at the same time

 

  • Strengthening this identification/connection, so that when mental/emotional/physical difficulties arise (as they always do in life), we are already identified and connected with a part of us which is free from all that.
